If you’re like me, you’re in month two of that ##quarantinelyfe. Are Zoom calls and socially distant school getting you down? Because, same. If you’re looking for something fun to do while staying socially distant, look no further! I got you!  Here is a list of VSCO girl things to do to prevent boredom and fatigue during quanratine.

1. Is your room slowly closing in because of how much time you’re spending in it? Marie-Kondo that space and redecorate!

Listen, I won’t lie to you, my room was a hot mess a week ago. There was laundry everywhere, my closet’s overflowing with clothes I didn’t even wear anymore…it was gross. But, I completely redecorated, threw out the clothes I don’t wear anymore, and I’m starting new! Just ask yourself: Does this ketchup stained sweatshirt spark joy? It doesn’t. I promise, it doesn’t. So, get out of bed, put your hair up, and get to work! Take down those One Direction posters, get some cute tapestries! (A much better investment- when you go to college, you can fold them up and take them with you!) Check out some of the VSCO Therapy ones: they’re super cute.

Pro Tip: I’ve tried taping pictures of my friends up on the wall, and they keep falling down. It’s like clockwork: every time I get them up and arranged cute, they fall down. Every. Single. Time. That’s why I ordered the Fairy Light Photo Clip string on VSCO Therapy! Scotch tape just can’t handle your pictures. Trust me.

2. Tired of wearing the same three sweatshirts and T-shirts on repeat?

If you’ve cleaned out your closet Marie-Kondo style, it’s time to invest in some serious comfort clothes. In need of some comfy sweatshirts that are still cute enough for your Zooms and Facetimes? Look no further! Try this hoodie on for size!

Spread some positivity to whoever you’re quarantining with! Whether you’re FaceTiming your best friend or eating dinner with your family, this is sure to bring a smile to anybody’s face!

3. Are you bored of watching Netflix alone? Throw a (socially-distant) Netflix party!

Do you miss the smaller stuff from pre-quarantine, like curling up on your best friend’s couch and watching Netflix? Do you just want someone to obsess over JJ from Outer Banks with? No sweat. Download Netflix Party, hop on Zoom, and binge away! (I have a lot of feelings about Outer Banks. Comment below if you’re a little salty about the ending.)

4. Still want to save the turtles, but don’t really know where to start?

I feel you! With the stress of staying inside all the time, everything’s really piling up. Start small and do what you can to stay environmentally conscious! If you’re going on a walk or a hike, don’t take a plastic water bottle with you! Bring a reusable water bottle! Decorate it with cute stickers! (Here’s my favorite blue marble one.)

If you’re going to the grocery store to pick up some essentials, don’t use the plastic bags they give you- they’re super bad for the environment. Take  a reusable one with you! (If you need one that can double as a cute backpack in the fall, click the picture.)

5. Are none of these grabbing your attention? Just looking for something fun to do?

Make a Tik Tok! Whether you’re dancing it up like Charli D’Amelio, or playing a prank on your brother or sister, making fun videos is always a great way to pass the time!

6. Still bored? Do the Scrunchie Challenge!

My personal fave is the Scrunchie Challenge: basically, you put your hair up in a ponytail, and see how many scrunchies it takes to make your hair stick straight up. If you don’t have enough scrunchies at home, check out these bad boys!

These are just some fun suggestions to pass the time. In all seriousness, stay happy and healthy! Make sure to continue social distancing and have fun doing it!
